Past Issues
The journal Zooarchaeology was first published in 1993 as a forum for young researchers to present their work, to report on unearthed but unpublished animal remains, and above all, to promote a wider understanding of zooarchaeology.
In 2013, the 20th anniversary of the journal was celebrated with the publication of Zooarchaeology Vol. 30 – 20th Anniversary Issue, a 468-page publication containing 29 articles.
With the transition to the “Japanese Society for Zooarchaeological,” the journal has been enlarged to A4 size starting from Vol. 31.
Discounted sales of back numbers are now available.
(1) Vol. 3 to vol. 29 (Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 are sold out): List price 1,500-3,000 yen → 500 yen per copy for members, 1,000 yen for non-members
(2) Vol. 30: List price 5,000 yen → 2,500 yen for members, 3,000 yen for non-members
